ABOUT RESPLENDENT PERMANENT MAKEUP STUDIO

Hi! My name is Destiny Gonzales, and I am the owner of Resplendent Permanent Makeup Studio in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Growing up, my eyebrows were always a big insecurity of mine, as they were very blonde and sparse. When I was a teenager, I started using topical makeup to fill them in. After only a few months of filling them in, I became so insecure about how they looked that I would refuse to leave the house without filling them in. I became so obsessed with making them "perfect" that I would spend around 30–40 minutes daily just on my eyebrows. As you can imagine, that process became such a chore, and it took so much time out of my mornings. I came across microblading and decided to give it a shot. After getting the service done, my life completely changed. My confidence went up so much, and I felt like a whole new person! I was able to leave my house feeling confident and not like everyone was just staring at my non-existent brows, plus I was able to save SO much time in the mornings getting ready, and who doesn’t love some extra sleep? I knew at that time that permanent makeup was what I wanted to do. I wanted to give people added confidence in their lives, and so I did some research and figured out what I needed in the state of New Mexico to be able to provide service. Soon after, I got trained and certified to do permanent makeup in 2022, and in 2023, I took my state board test and got licensed. After getting my license I wanted to open up my very own studio, so I created Resplendent Permanent Makeup Studio!
